The Challenge

Intense Technologies is a big data analytics company, holding a 70% market share in India’s telecom sector. Although its UniServe™ solution has already been deployed across four continents, Intense Technologies was keen to expand its international visibility and contacted Proactive International PR as it looked to promote itself during its attendance at Mobile World Congress. The event in Barcelona is the telecoms industry’s flagship event, with many of the biggest technology players in the world announcing new products and ideas, creating a unique challenge in ensuring that Intense’s story was heard above the noise.

Actions Taken

Proactive PR wrote a pre-event press release to help build Intense Technologies’ profile ahead of Mobile World Congress, using it to secure briefings with analysts from a number of top analyst houses, The team also prepared a question and answer document for the client to use on its stand during these briefings, ensuring a coordinated approach.

Alongside this, Proactive PR also developed a social media schedule for the duration of the event – including promoted tweets – and conducted a video interview with the company’s European Vice President Eduardo Silva, outlining Intense Technologies’ key messages from the show.

Following the event, Proactive PR drafted a follow-up thought leadership article, touching on a number of the industry topics that came out of the show and the challenges companies face when trying to act on big data insights.

The Results

During the event, Intense Technologies held more than 30 meetings with current and prospective customers and received a higher-than-expected amount of traffic to its stand.

The interview with Eduardo Silva was hosted on Total Telecom TV and the post-show article was featured on ITProPortal – a leading UK-based technology news site – as well as being carried by a number of industry news websites.
